
Festive Fall Sourdough Skewers

Ingredients
- 5 slices California Goldminer® Sourdough Sesame square Bread
- 1 lb. Brussels sprouts, halved
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ cup Goat cheese
- 1-2 pears, sliced
- Balsamic-Honey Glaze (recipe follows)
Balsamic-Honey Glaze Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp. honey
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- 10 Skewers
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400ºF. In a large mixing bowl, combine Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Transfer Brussels sprouts to a foil-lined baking sheet and roast until crisp (approximately 35-40 minutes).
- Lightly toast bread. Spread Goat cheese on each slice and cut into squares.
- Build skewers. Pierce a square of Goat cheese-covered toast, one pear slice and one Brussels sprout. Repeat process two more times for each skewer.
- Make the Balsamic-Honey Glaze. In a small bowl, whisk balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, honey, salt and pepper until well combined. Drizzle over skewers and enjoy!
